The Financial Systems Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that our ERP landscapes are efficiently operated and securely maintained.
The role is multifaceted and spans various areas often supporting specific business processes or segments of the ERP landscape. Success in this position requires a strong blend of technical expertise financial knowledge and collaborative skills to optimize and manage financial systems effectively across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain the ERP system to ensure it runs smoothly and reliably according to established processes.
- Provide technical/operational support to AFRYs user base.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements upgrades and patches including related testing.
- Develop and maintain system documentation e.g. installation procedures configuration guides and troubleshooting protocols etc.
- Participate in business/governance projects and initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on ERP Maconomy Finance modules troubleshooting complex issues and implementing measures to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Participate in Merger & Acquisition activities business projects and governance initiatives.
- Communicate with the Vendor for operational topics.
Qualifications :
Pre-requisites:
- Full professional proficiency in English with Swedish considered an advantage.
- While AFRY offers a hybrid working model this role requires a significant on-site presence in Solna Sweden. Applicants are therefore expected to be based in Sweden.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Advanced knowledge and a minimum of 5 years experience as a Financial Systems Specialist or System Administrator in ERP Maconomy with a strong focus on financial modules including Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Banking and General Ledger.
- Experience with additional Maconomy modules; Human Resource SAPBO Reports and Projects is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel PowerPoint Word OneNote...)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to multitask and to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in ERP systems or related technologies is a plus.
