Overview
The Creative Services Copywriter partners with stakeholders tocommunicatestrategic business goals into actionable objective and creative expressions of Cooks unique brand in the most relevant and efficient way possible. The Copywriter understands the needs of both the company and its customers to deliver branded collateral across a variety of applications.Based in Europe strong English skills are needed and fluency in French is preferred for localizing messaging for French-speaking audiences.
Responsibilities
- Write and revise content for marketing and communications materials that align with our brand culture values and policies.
- Use Cook voice and tone follow Cook copy style guide and ensure error-free
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders toidentifycontent goals and key points writing concise copy consistent with thebrand
- Research topics to convey information clearly to audiences withdifferent levelsof understanding including product technical procedural content and company or brand promotion.
- Proactively seek out subject matter experts and information to improve the quality ofthe material.
- Work closely with writers designers and otheragency teammembersto ensure brand alignment across all channels connect projects and repurposec
- Manage time and work volume to ensureefficiencieswhilemaintaining
- Use designated project management tools to document versions progress and approval of projects.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Participate in creativebrainstorming consultations and other collaborative interactions.
- Ensure thatall quality regulatory and product-specific requirements are met within scope of responsibility. This includesconsulting with Reimbursement andlocalizing French specific materials to meet French Charter and French Compliancerequiremen
- Actively listen and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations.
- Remain calm and receptive in fast-paced situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Journalism or a writing related field highly desirable.
- Proficient in English.
- Fluency in French (native or bilingualproficiency preferred); ability to adapt and localize English messaging for French-speaking audiences.
- Experience writing editing and proofreading in French with strong editorial skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of cultural nuances and ability totrans createcontent for local relevance.
- Familiarity with European marketing standards like theEuropean Union Medical Device Regulation (EU-MDR)Frenchcomplianceand French Charter and country-specific requirements.
- Ability to collaborate remotely across time zones and work within CET-compatible hours.
- Proven experience in copywriting ideally in marketing communications or eCommerce.
- Portfolio of workdemonstratingcreative skills and adaptability.
- Experience with SEO best practices and digital campaigns.
- Strong communicationand collaboration skillsare important.
- Ability to manage multiple projects andshiftingpriorities.
- Experience with Adobe Workfront a plus but notrequired

Cook Medical has been in Limerick since 1996 starting out withlabellingand distribution and steadily growing and evolving to include manufacturing centralised customer support and on to collaborative product development in the Innovation Centre. The Ireland location is our European headquarters and houses our EMEA Support Centre. This location currently employs more than 1000 people and manufactures 10% of Cooks products for global markets.
