Job Summary
Now Hiring CHHAs! Short shifts mostly days. Great for overtime!
First in Home Care Interim HealthCare is expanding! We are looking for Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides to provide in-home care to residents of Middlesex County.
Part-time flexible hours!
Must have NJ CHHA certification andreliable transportation. Criminal history and background check will be completed upon hire.
Nursing students welcome! We will guide you through the certification process.
CHHAs provide companion activities homemaking personal care transport to appointments and assistance with daily activities such asgrocery shopping.

CHHAs provide assistance with:
- exercise activity and positioning range of motion transferring ambulation and assistive devices
- personal hygiene (nail and skin care bathing shampooing etc.) and positioning
- vital signs
- post-stroke and dementia care
- light house-keeping laundry and assistance with meal preparation
- transportationto appointments
- adherence to patient plan of care
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- NJ CHHA or CNA certification
- Nursing student (able to take NJ CHHA exam)
- Basic Life Support (CPR must be achieved within 60 days)
- Reliable vehicle
- Ableto pass criminal history and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)
- Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment.
