Position Overview
A leading acute care hospital in Las Vegas NV is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) to support a nationally recognized Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program. This role primarily supports an outpatient cancer care clinic while rotating into the inpatient BMT/Oncology unit.
The Clinical Pharmacist serves as the subject matter expert in hematology oncology bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies collaborating closely with physicians nurses and pharmacy staff to deliver evidence-based high-quality patient care. This position offers a high level of clinical autonomy and independent decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical pharmacy services for hematology oncology BMT biotherapy and immune effector cellular therapy patients
Coordinate and manage oncology treatment regimens including autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants
Support CAR T-cell therapy and BiTE therapies
Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and patient counseling
Develop implement and monitor order sets protocols and clinical guidelines
Ensure appropriate pharmacotherapy and clinical interventions
Support clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds committees and medical center meetings
Provide medication order verification and distribution support
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Required
Active Nevada Pharmacist License Required
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) Required
Completion of PGY2 Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Residency
OR
5 years of clinical oncology practice experience
Experience in a BMT/Oncology clinic with a collaborative practice agreement
