Legacy Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate X-ray Technician on behalf of a reputable outpatient healthcare provider. This role is ideal for a certified radiologic technologist who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. The position is Temp-to-Hire and is open to entry level candidates who just graduated from a program.
Position Overview
The X-ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment ensuring patient safety comfort and image quality. This individual will collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses and maintain a clean compliant and patient-centered work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Imaging & Patient Care
- Perform X-ray exams as ordered by physicians following safety and aseptic protocols
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a growing outpatient setting
- Prepare and position patients explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort
- Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to optimize image clarity
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate records of patient history imaging results and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support comprehensive care
- Perform proper intake and documentation for radiologist review
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean safe exam room
- Submit supply requests and participate in quality control procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA state regulations and internal policies
Qualifications:
- ARRT (R) Certification
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License
- Fluoroscopy License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to compassionate professional patient care
- Basic computer proficiency; RIS/PACS experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently
Preferred
- 1 years of experience in a clinical imaging setting
- Willingness to obtain CT certification
- Bilingual (a plus but not required)
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Day shift Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $34.00 $38.00
Final pay will be based on experience certifications and clinical background.
