Location: Atlanta GA 30342
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (schedule may vary)
Compensation:
Local Rate: $1380 weekly
Travel Rate: $1461.50 weekly
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment supporting Respiratory Care and Diagnostic Services. This role involves delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients across various age groups during night shifts in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate is clinically strong adaptable and comfortable responding to emergent situations.
Key Responsibilities
Assess treat and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy aerosolized medications and ventilator support
Perform diagnostic testing and continuously monitor patient responses to treatment
Respond to emergency situations and actively participate in code responses
Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Collaborate effectively with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC (required)
Current AHA certifications:
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying schedules
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Qualifications
Prior travel assignment experience
Strong critical thinking communication and clinical judgment skills
Experience in acute care or hospital-based settings
