Job Summary
Our client - a new Silicon Valley based profitable B2C product startup building innovative mobile solutions for the planet is now looking for an Infrastructure QA Engineer.
Type: Remote full-time

About project and role:
The product VPN - Super Unlimited Proxy is a Virtual Private Network that provides users online privacy and anonymity by creating a private network from a public internet connection.
The company has over 44M MAUs (and growing) with a solid customer base in the US and iOS Out of the top markets we track worldwide upon searching for the keyword VPN in the App Store they are the #1 product in 32 out of 40 countries follow (including in the US all of Western Europe etc.) and in the top 3 for all 40 addition they have been consistently ranked in the top 10 productivity apps in the US right up with Google Docs Google Sheets etc.
The product has >1.6M very high-quality ratings in iOS alone.
Now we are looking for a drive full of positive energy QA Engineers with a solid background in backend testing.
Responsibilities:
- Testing servers
- Testing Admin panel
- Testing APIs
- Analyze CS tickets
- Prepare performance scripts based on JMeter
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance preferably in infrastructure backend or platform-related projects
- Strong understanding of server-side testing including Linux-based environments logs analysis and configuration validation
- Experience testing Admin panels / back-office systems including role-based access data integrity and system workflows
- Solid knowledge of API testing (REST JSON) including request validation error handling and edge cases
- Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman Swagger or similar
- Ability to analyze Customer Support (CS) tickets reproduce issues identify root causes and collaborate with engineering teams on fixes
- Understanding of performance and load testing concepts (latency throughput bottlenecks scalability)
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools is a plus
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating with developers DevOps and support teams
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
