We are looking for a Host/Hostess for our luxury hotel Santo Mauro Luxury Collection.
Responsibilities
You will be the host/hostess for our guests both hotel residents and external visitors from their arrival until they are seated in the various dining outlets. You are the person who welcomes seats accommodates and bids farewell to guests in the food & beverage outlets. You will be responsible for registering managing and confirming F&B department reservations through the hotels reservation management system as well as controlling capacity and guest flow in the terrace/bar areas.
You will review menus to ensure they are up-to-date clean abundant and wrinkle-free. You will maintain order and cleanliness in the work areas throughout the day following on-the-go cleaning procedures.
You will actively promote sales.
You will communicate with the F&B department managers to ensure successful service and guest satisfaction. You will convey and record guest feedback to the managers on duty.
The selected candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish.
You will comply with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Degree or training in Hospitality and/or Tourism Management
At least 2 years of experience in customer service positions in 4*/5* hotels or restaurants (preferred)
High level of English
