Job Summary

St Vincents Lismore are seeking a motivated and compassionateRegistered Nurse to join our Day Surgery and Short Stay team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative and post-operative nursing care in a fast-paced professional environment.

This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety efficiency and working closely with a multidisciplinary team all without night duty.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe evidencebased nursing care to day surgery and short stay patients
Conduct pre and postoperative patient assessments and provide education
Monitor patient recovery and escalate clinical concerns as required
Collaborate effectively with medical anaesthetic and allied health teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational policies and standards

About You

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience in Day Surgery PACU Short Stay Surgical or Acute Care (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-turnover environment
A commitment to patient safety quality care and teamwork
