Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time tenure-track Nursing Professor. This position will be teaching first year nursing students about the fundamentals of nursing. The ideal candidate will have a background in long term care memory care skilled or rehab nursing care or foundational nursing skills. Individuals with other nursing backgrounds and combinations of nursing experience and education are still encouraged to apply. Experience with teaching in classroom/theory clinical skills and simulation is also preferred. The successful candidates will work within a team to teach a combination of in-person didactic clinical and lab courses.
Department and college service work is expected with the position (as assigned by the division or college) to support the institutional mission and goals the foremost being student success and retention. This position will begin September 11 2026 and is located at the Clark College Building at the Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) campus.

SALARY STATEMENT:
The current starting salary is $136724 including $85724 (base salary) $$27000 nursing salary supplement $24000 nursing salary stipend). Faculty may be eligible to advance every other year; the current top step salary is $173642 ($113642 base salary $36000 nursing salary supplement $24000 nursing salary stipend). The nursing salary stipend and salary supplement are contingent on continued funding. Salary is for a 173-day contract; additional compensation is available through summer and moonlight teaching and doctoral and vocational stipends.
Please note the salary may be adjusted for the 2026-2027 year pending the legislatively funded cost-of-living.
