DescriptionAs part of the health & benefits team this role is primarily to develop and grow our H&B business in Malaysia. This would include active business development and pipeline management provide technical training client sales/ servicing support and to deliver on H&B strategy and BD projects.
The Role
- Support health & benefits projects and proposals development
- Project delivery and account management. This would include serving as the contact for internal stakeholders and clients on delivery of services.
- Sales management ensuring the progress against established objectives budget timeline deliverables and quality standards
- Develop benefits propositions liaising & negotiating with stakeholders and prepare client solutions & recommendations. This would include (but not limited to) day to day vendor collaboration building/refining processes and developing marketing/sales materials
- Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Practice Leader
- Revenue Target for H&B consulting projects and fee/commission based brokerage clients
- Manage an active and healthy sales pipeline that is aligned to revenue target
- Conduct benchmarking studies and other research; provide value added analyses and summaries
- Analyse and compare vendor products services and contracts
- Design distribute and evaluate responses to surveys and RFPs
- Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients regarding data collection and project execution
- Maintain and update of all sales material
- Claims analysis report writing
- Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
- Responding knowledgeably and quickly to champion questions

- Strong EB business development background. Proven experience with high corporate deals closing ratio
- Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate
- Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Sense of accountability; owning ones work and taking pride in it
- Self-starter; interest in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of ones comfort zone
- Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how ones work fits into the broader landscape
