About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Analytical Chemist (Scientist/Senior Scientist) to join our Analytical Characterization team within Early Product Development and Manufacturing (EPDM).In this lab-based role you will work collaboratively with a highly skilled team to deliver analytical solutions for early-stage drug product development up to Phase II. You will document experiments to the highest quality standards and contribute to regulatory clinical trial applications (CTA).This position offers the opportunity to apply your analytical expertise to advance drug product projects contribute to bringing new medicines to patients and drive innovation in analytical science
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and document high-quality analytical experiments to support early drug product development.
Apply your expertise in chromatography and related detection techniques for small molecules.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to solve complex problems and deliver results on time.
Contribute to regulatory submissions including clinical trial applications (CTA).
Stay up-to-date within the scientific discipline and actively drive innovation within the department.
Lead mentor and inspire colleagues while fostering collaboration across teams.
Requirements:
Essential:
MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline preferably with industry experience.
Strong scientific knowledge and technical skills in analytical science including chromatography for small molecules.
Driven experimentalist with a passion for delivering reliable and relevant data.
Ability to influence discussions and contribute in multi-disciplinary project teams.
Excellent communication collaboration networking and leadership skills.
Desirable:
Broad pharmaceutical industry experience including oral solid dosage form development.
Experience with CMC regulatory submissions and GMP-compliant work.
Expertise in specific analytical techniques for small molecules (e.g. mass spectrometry NMR dissolution).
Track record of driving analytical innovation and championing new technologies.
Knowledge or experience in automation AI and digitalization within analytical science.
Publications in analytical science or pharmaceutical characterization.
