Job overview: As an Accountant you play a crucial role within the Finance Shared Service Centre team during a period of rapid growth. You ensure accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting and provide accounting support to various parts of the organization in Poland and across the wider AniCura Group.
Your key responsibilities will include
Contribute to the day-to-day accounting activities for clinic operations in Poland
Support the monthly quarterly and annual close processes
Prepare review and post journal entries in Oracle and group reporting systems (including inventory and bad debt)
Perform sales reconciliations VAT settlements and balance sheet reconciliations (BlackLine)
Coordinate with external accounting service providers and verify delivered services
Support statutory financial statements and tax reporting together with external advisors
Ensure compliance with AniCura Group accounting standards and support implementation of new policies
Monitor local accounting and regulatory developments in cooperation with advisors and SSC leadership
Support ERP System changes.
Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and continuous improvement initiatives
Position requirements
Academic degree in Accounting Finance or a similar field
At least 3 years of experience in accounting/finance within large matrix organizations Shared Service Centers and/or audit firms
Experience with GL accounting processes and supporting month/year-end closings
Fluency in English (Polish required for local communication)
Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
Experience working within Oracle ERP is preferred
Good MS Office / Excel skills
