Job Summary
We are working with an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Haringey recruiting for a History ECT. This is a scholarly environment where the Humanities are a core pillar of the curriculum.
The School This Haringey-based school is a traditional academic institution with a strong emphasis on the Liberal Arts. It serves a broad community and has achieved some of the highest progress scores in North London prioritising teacher-led instruction and a knowledge-rich curriculum.
The Role You will teach History across all key stages focusing on source analysis historiography and historical arguments.
Start Date: ASAP (Full-time Permanent)
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering rigorous History lessons with a focus on rhetoric and enquiry.
Engaging in a structured induction programme with a dedicated Humanities expert.
Contributing to the schools inclusive pastoral life as a Form Tutor.
Supporting the History Society and university-level student enquiries.
