We are working with a successful primary school federation in Birmingham recruiting for an HR Manager for an ASAP start. This role oversees HR operations across two local sites providing a varied and rewarding workload.
The School The federation is celebrated for its inclusive ethos and its success in supporting students from diverse backgrounds. The leadership team is highly supportive valuing the HR Manager as a strategic partner in achieving the schools long-term educational goals.
The Role You will manage the end-to-end HR process for a large staff body ensuring consistency in policy and practice across the federation.
Start Date: ASAP (Full-time Permanent)
Key responsibilities include:
Employee Engagement: Implementing staff voice surveys and wellbeing initiatives to improve retention and morale.
Absence Management: Managing the federations sickness absence policy including conducting occupational health referrals.
Note Taking: Serving as the professional lead for governor-level HR hearings and appeals.
Staff Development: Coordinating the performance management cycle and maintaining records of professional development (CPD).
