We are looking for a specialist who can spark a passion for entrepreneurship and global markets. You will be responsible for teaching Business Studies at KS4 (GCSE/BTEC) and Economics at KS5 (A-Level). You should be comfortable moving between the practicalities of running a business and the theoretical complexities of national and international economies.
Key Responsibilities:
Subject Delivery: Teach a range of topics including business finance marketing and human resources alongside macroeconomic policy and microeconomic theory.
Exam Preparation: Drive high standards of achievement for GCSE and A-Level students focusing on evaluative essay writing and quantitative skills.
Real-World Context: Integrate current affairssuch as inflation rates trade deals and local Yorkshire business success storiesinto the curriculum.
Vocational Support: If applicable lead on BTEC Tech Awards or National levels ensuring students meet all internal and external assessment criteria.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Business Economics or a related discipline.
