A well-established secondary school in Bromsgrove is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented School Finance Officer to join its administrative team from January 2026.
The Role
This is a key position within the schools operations responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial processes and supporting senior leaders with accurate budget management. You will manage purchase orders invoicing reconciliations and budget tracking ensuring financial procedures align with both school policy and local authority requirements.
You will work closely with the Headteacher Business Manager and department leads providing clear financial information to support planning and decision-making.

Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in school finance or public-sector finance
Strong knowledge of finance systems and Excel

Confident communicator able to work with both teaching and non-teaching staff
