We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Fulham starting as soon as possible. The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to support childrens learning across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will assist with delivering activities supporting continuous provision and helping children develop key skills in communication language social interaction and independence.
You will play a vital role in supporting childrens emotional wellbeing behaviour and personal development ensuring they are happy settled and ready to learn. The role also involves observing children contributing to assessments and working closely with parents and carers to support progress.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the EYFS curriculum
Assist with delivering engaging activities and continuous provision
Support childrens communication language and early literacy development
Promote positive behaviour independence and confidence
Support childrens social emotional and personal development
Observe assess and contribute to tracking childrens progress
Work collaboratively with the EYFS team and wider school staff
Support children during transitions routines and outdoor learning
Maintain a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to staff meetings training and school initiatives
Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
