As part of this strategy the group is seeking to rebuild and sustainably structure its presence in Brazil. To support this ambition the company is looking for a Senior Business Developer / Sales Engineer to lead market development and act as the key local technical reference.
The position is based in the State of São Paulo ideally in São Paulo or São José dos Campos with regular travel to client sites.
Missions
Reporting to international management and working closely with the European and U.S. headquarters you will be responsible for developing and structuring the Brazilian market. You will act as the local relay between Brazil and France ensuring alignment on commercial strategy technical requirements and cultural expectations.
You will lead business development activities identifying new opportunities in aerospace defense space and selected oil & gas segments. You will create and manage a local client portfolio with a strong focus on long-term high-value relationships.
You will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and early technical discussions through to contract negotiation and project follow-up in coordination with engineering and production teams.
You will act as a technical-commercial interlocutor for clients understanding their operational constraints and providing first-level technical support upstream in project phases.
You will represent the company during customer meetings site visits and industry events contributing to the visibility and credibility of the group in the Brazilian aerospace and defense ecosystem.
Beyond pure sales activities you will contribute to structuring the local presence building a robust pipeline and laying the foundations for sustainable growth in Brazil.
Profile
You hold a degree in engineering (mechanical electrical/electronic electromechanical mechatronics aerospace or related fields) and have a solid background in technical and industrial environments. MBA and/or relevant experience in the aerospace industry is strongly recommended.
You have significant experience in B2B technical sales or business development ideally within aerospace defense or other high-technology industrial sectors. Exposure to harsh-environment applications is a strong advantage.
You demonstrate a balanced profile (technical and commercial) with the ability to engage in complex technical discussions while driving business development and negotiations.
You are autonomous reliable and results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. You are comfortable operating in an environment with limited day-to-day supervision and clear expectations on outcomes.
You bring energy ambition and a genuine desire to build and grow a market. Profiles primarily seeking comfort or end-of-career stability are not targeted.
You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to bridge cultures particularly between Brazilian and European (French) business environments.
You speak Portuguese fluently and have a professional working level of English. Knowledge of French is strongly recommended.
You are based in the State of São Paulo or willing to relocate and available for regular travel within Brazil.
