Job Summary (Storeroom Attendant)
- Responsible for receiving stocking issuing and cycle counting inventory at a customers industrial facility.
- Maintains a clean organized and professional work environment.
- Part-time temp-to-hire role (24 hours/week); primarily 2nd shift (Sat-Sun 1 weekday 2pm-10:20pm); occasional 3rd shift coverage.
- Initial training on 1st shift (Mon-Fri 3-4 weeks).
- Physically demanding; may walk up to 4.5 miles daily and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Delivers materials between campus buildings using a battery-operated cart.
- Utilizes computers for inventory management and recordkeeping.
- Issues and tracks tools equipment and materials to employees; maintains accurate documentation.
- Performs stockroom duties: unloading sorting labeling moving and storing items on shelves/bins.
- Conducts cycle counts and prepares inventory reports.
- Inspects reports and may repair tools/equipment.
- Maintains safety standards and uses ladders for stocking (up to 8 feet).
- Customer service and teamwork skills are essential.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Steel toe shoes with internal metatarsals required.
- Previous warehouse and/or forklift experience is a plus (on-the-job certification available).
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; basic math and computer skills required.
