Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Programmer with experience in woodworking and millwork to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality wood components accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Program set up and operate CNC routers for woodworking applications
Read and interpret shop drawings CAD files and cut lists
Create and modify CNC programs to meet production requirements
Load materials set tooling and perform machine setup and calibration
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality
Perform basic machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
Optimize programs for efficiency and material utilization
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer in woodworking or millwork
Knowledge of CNC routers and woodworking materials (MDF plywood hardwoods laminates)
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g. Cabinet Vision AutoCAD Fusion AlphaCAM or similar)
Strong understanding of tooling feeds and speeds
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Attention to detail and quality control

Nice to Have

Experience with nested-based manufacturing
Knowledge of cabinet or millwork production workflows
Basic maintenance or electrical troubleshooting experience
