Job Summary

Title: Senior Tech Developer (Angular Java Python SQL)

Location: New York NY

Setting: Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Type: Long Term Contract.

W2 or 1099 Candidates only

We are seeking a Senior Technical Developer to lead the development of a modern responsive front-end application that integrates with our core banking services. This role will serve as technical lead for UI development working closely with Product Owners architects and an onsite-offshore development team to deliver high-quality scalable solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex user interfaces establishing coding standards and ensuring best practices across the development lifecycle. You will provide technical guidance conduct code reviews and make architectural decisions to ensure optimal performance and maintainability. This position requires deep expertise in front-end technologies strong problem-solving abilities and excellent collaboration skills to mentor team members and drive technical excellence.

Must Have Requirements:

6-9 years of software development experience with strong focus on UI/front-end development in banking or financial services
Expert-level proficiency in Angular framework with deep understanding of TypeScript RxJS and component-based architecture
Strong backend development skills in Java and Python with experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
Advanced SQL skills with experience in database design optimization and working with relational databases
Proven experience leading technical implementations mentoring developers and conducting code reviews
Understanding of core banking systems integration patterns and financial services domain
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills with capacity to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Systems or related field

Desirable:

Experience with modern front-end build tools state management libraries (NgRx Redux) and responsive design frameworks
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jasmine Karma Jest) accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization techniques
Experience with agile development methodologies and working in distributed team environments
