About the Role
Are you a finance leader who enjoys ownership autonomy and real impact This is a senior country-level role where you will act as the financial administrative and legal backbone of the German subsidiary based in Winterberg Germany.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO you will play a key role in shaping financial governance supporting operational leaders and ensuring compliance while working closely with international headquarters. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership making it ideal for someone who enjoys both direction-setting and execution.
You will be the central point of contact for all finance HR and compliance matters in Germany and a trusted sparring partner for resort managers and senior stakeholders.

Your Profile
- Overall financial administrative and legal management of the German subsidiary
- Leadership and development of the local Finance Accounting and HR team (team of 4)
- Full responsibility for:
- Accounting
- Taxation
- Controlling
- HR administration
- Contracts
- Monthly and annual financial reporting to headquarters
- Independent preparation of local annual financial statements
- Ensuring full compliance with German laws regulations and internal policies
- Representation of the German subsidiary towards:
- External authorities
- External stakeholders
- The president of the German board
- Acting as a sparring partner for:
- Resort managers across 13 German locations
- Country head of operations
- International headquarters
- Country-level implementation of the corporate HR strategy
- Handling all strategic and operational matters related to the German entity
What You Bring along
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable senior finance or country management role in Germany
- Industry experience ideally within:
- Retail
- Consumer goods
- Hospitality
- Manufacturing
- Services
- Real estate
- Strong knowledge of:
- German taxation
- German commercial and labor law
- GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience in preparing annual financial statements independently
- Experience managing and developing small teams
- Advanced IT skills particularly with spreadsheets
- Experience with SAP (FI/CO) is a plus
- University degree in Business Administration or Management (preferably with a major in Accounting)
- CPA or local equivalent qualification is a plus
- Fluent German and English (mandatory)
