Job Summary

SH-815 IT Technical Support Specialist Milledgeville GA.

Location: Milledgeville GA 31062 (Local candidates only)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technical Support Specialist to oversee IT systems and assets support upgrades and issue resolution and provide training and technical assistance across the organization. This role will collaborate closely with employees at all levels and will have a direct impact on operational efficiency and business growth.

Objectives of the Role

Maintain and support essential IT operations including operating systems security tools applications servers email systems laptops desktops and other hardware/software
Handle business-critical IT tasks and drive system improvements
Enable faster smarter business processes and improve employee productivity
Research evaluate and recommend emerging technologies hardware and software
Serve as a subject-matter expert for Windows and commonly used applications such as Microsoft and Adobe products

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and support workstation software hardware printers and phones
Assess staff IT needs identify vulnerabilities and improve efficiency and accuracy
Design document implement test and administer systems and networks ensuring all components meet business requirements and function seamlessly
Implement application and software upgrades and troubleshoot performance issues
Train employees on hardware and software usage and provide ongoing technical support

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 VPNs Adobe McAfee LogMeIn encryption tools and related technologies
Ability to troubleshoot computer peripherals including printers scanners monitors keyboards mice and MDF-related devices
Hands-on experience supporting end-user computing devices such as desktops laptops and Microsoft Surface devices
Proven experience working within an Active Directory domain environment
Proficiency in software installation configuration and troubleshooting
Basic to intermediate networking knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot network issues using command-line tools
