RN Oncology
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Inpatient Acute Oncology Unit on the night shift. This role requires strong clinical expertise in oncology nursing including chemotherapy administration and the ability to provide high-quality care to complex adult oncology patients in an acute care setting.

Assignment Length: 13-week contract

Provide comprehensive nursing care to inpatient oncology patients

Administer and monitor IV chemotherapy in accordance with established protocols
-
Assess monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
-
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes

Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed to support staffing requirements

Maintain compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements

Active and current California Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient acute oncology nursing experience

Proven experience with IV chemotherapy administration

Ability to float to Med/Surg units as needed

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

ONC/Chemotherapy Certification

EPIC EMR experience required

Position requires employment as a W-2 employee through the staffing agency

Med/Surg and Critical Care RNs may be required to float based on unit needs
