Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility strength and functional independence through individualized therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans

Provide therapeutic exercises gait training balance training and functional mobility activities

Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or changes
-
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Ensure patient safety and compliance with rehabilitation protocols
Required Qualifications

Active state Physical Therapy Assistant license (must be current)

Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

Strong communication teamwork and patient care skills
