Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility strength and functional independence through individualized therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic exercises gait training balance training and functional mobility activities

  • Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or changes

  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with rehabilitation protocols

Required Qualifications
  • Active state Physical Therapy Assistant license (must be current)

  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

  • Strong communication teamwork and patient care skills

Additional Details
  • Minimum experience: less than 1 year (new graduates encouraged to apply)

  • No holiday coverage required

  • Bilingual skills not required
