The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides skilled therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing setting focusing on restoring maintaining and improving functional independence and quality of life. This role involves evaluating patient needs developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver occupational therapy interventions in accordance with established standards and care plans
Document patient progress outcomes and treatment plans accurately and timely
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
Collaborate with nursing therapy and interdisciplinary teams to support patient goals
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional practice standards
Licensure:
Active or pending state Occupational Therapist license (upon acceptance)
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
Education & Certification:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current professional certification as required by state regulations
