As a Blending Technician you will be responsible for blending custom seasoning and spice mixes to meet customer specifications.
Shifts available:
- First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Second Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Starting Pay: $19/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed batch instructions to blend seasonings and spices accurately.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control Lab to ensure product quality before production begins.
- Continuously monitor product quality during the production process.
- Maintain responsibility for overall room conditions including cleanliness sanitation and productivity.
- Accurately complete batch cards document production data and resolve any discrepancies between batch weights and outputs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications - High School diploma or GED.
- Warehouse experience particularly in food manufacturing.
- Machine operator experience is preferred.
Skills:
- Attention to detail.
- Dependability and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Basic math and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to read write and understand English
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and walk long distances.
- Capable of pushing pulling lifting and carrying heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks involving extended arm movements and manual dexterity.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work in noisy dusty environments and withstand temperature extremes.
