Job Summary

The Batch Preparator role involves weighing and preparing raw materials for seasoning batches based on production schedules.
Shifts available:
  • First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
  • Second Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Starting Pay: $19/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately measure label and organize materials for batch production.
  • Follow production schedules closely to prioritize and complete batch preparations.
  • Securely store unused materials and ensure they are returned to the proper storage locations by material handlers.
  • Prepare and maintain workstations weighing equipment and necessary supplies daily.
  • Adhere to cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the workspace.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Warehouse experience particularly in food manufacturing.
  • Machine operator experience is preferred.
Skills:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Dependability and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Basic math and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to read write and understand English
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and walk long distances.
  • Capable of pushing pulling lifting and carrying heavy items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving extended arm movements and manual dexterity.
  • Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to work in noisy dusty environments and withstand temperature extremes.
