Job Summary

We are looking for a Seior Front End Developer within a pan-European consumer tech platform operating at significant scale.

The team owns long-term product development and builds reliable high-throughput systems where the front end plays a critical role in performance stability and data-driven user experience. This is a core engineering group with real influence on platform evolution and technical direction not a feature factory.

Tasks

As a Senior Front-End Developer you will work within a cross-functional agile team to build and maintain user-facing web applications that are scalable performant and highly usable. Youll collaborate closely with back-end developers designers and product managers to implement new features optimize existing interfaces and ensure high standards of code quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain responsive high-performance frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (primarily React).
Develop and maintain services (e.g. BFFs APIs SSR layers) to support frontend use cases and optimize data flow.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers Designers Backend and Data teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Contribute to frontend and full-stack architecture decisions ensuring scalability maintainability and performance.
Write clean testable and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Optimize applications for performance accessibility SEO and reliability in high-traffic environments.
Work in an Agile setup (Scrum/Kanban) actively participating in planning refinement and retrospectives.

Requirements

Strong experience with JavaScript (ESNext) and TypeScript.
Solid hands-on experience with React and modern frontend tooling.
Practical experience with (Express Fastify or similar) in production environments.
Understanding of API design data fetching strategies and frontendbackend integration.
Experience with HTML5 CSS/SCSS responsive design and modern UI patterns.
Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
Experience working in agile cross-functional teams.
