Job Summary
YellowSquare is looking for a Night Porter - Receptionist
YellowSquare is looking for a reliable professional and proactive Night Porter - Receptionist for our Rome hostel. This role is the heartbeat of our nights: youll be the go-to person for our guests when the sun goes down balancing administrative precision with a watchful eye on the hostels safety.
What youll do:
- Dealing with bookings and managing the front desk during the night shift;
- Completing smooth Check-in and Check-out procedures;
- Preparing bills taking payments and ensuring financial accuracy;
- Patrol and secure hallways common areas and entrances to maintain a safe environment;
- Handling guest complaints or technical problems with a problem-solving mindset;
- Acting as the first point of contact for any emergencies during the night.
What youll bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (hospitality or front desk);
- Excellence in customer service: you know how to make a guest feel at home;
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced or unexpected situation;
- High proficiency in spoken and written English (any other language is a big plus!);
- Flexibility with night shifts and working hours;
- A true team spirit and the ability to collaborate across departments.
