Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. This role requires proficiency in operating X-ray equipment ensuring patient safety and maintaining accurate records. The technician will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment.
- Process and evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of various radiographic techniques and procedures.
Special Considerations:
- No weekends.
- No call requirements.
- Previous perm staff are not permitted to work here as travelers regardless of the amount of time that has passed.
- Any Swedish perm staff is a hard stop for all OR unit and OR specialties.
Scheduling:
- Sunday through Thursday.
