Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech assists surgeons and nurses in the operating room by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment handling surgical instruments and ensuring patient safety. This role requires at least two years of acute care surgical tech experience and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and on-call shifts.

Location:Fullerton California United States
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and equipment used.
- Float to Plaza Surgery Center as needed.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care surgical tech experience
- BLS certification

Special Considerations:
- On-call required: 9 PM - 11 PM on weekdays 1-2 call shifts per week.
- Must be open to working weekends potentially exceeding every other weekend.
- May be asked to float to Plaza Surgery Center as needed.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.
- RTO must be included at time of submission.
- Radius is 50 miles.
