The Hemodialysis Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining hemodialysis equipment monitoring patients during dialysis treatments and ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role involves working with Fresenius 2008T machines and requires adherence to clinic protocols and procedures. The technician will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

Location:Hood River Oregon United States
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain hemodialysis machines (Fresenius 2008T).
- Monitor patients vital signs and overall condition during dialysis treatments.
- Prepare dialysis solutions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the dialysis process.
- Document patient information and treatment details accurately.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with patient education regarding dialysis procedures and self-care.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Hemodialysis Technician certification.
- Experience with Fresenius 2008T dialysis machines.
- BLS certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hemodialysis Technician certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- One year of experience as a Hemodialysis Technician.
- Experience in a critical access or Level III Trauma Center.
- One year of experience as a Hemodialysis Technician.
- Experience in a critical access or Level III Trauma Center.
Special Considerations:
- Clinic hours are Mon/Wed/Fri 0500-1730.
- No on-call requirements.
- No weekend requirements.
- No block schedules required.
- Expected patient ratio is 1:4.

- Work schedule is during clinic hours on Monday Wednesday and Friday.
