Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale CA

Duration: 10 Months

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Range: $65 to $70

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance and support for the design deployment and management of enterprise campus network infrastructure across multiple sites.
Lead the planning coordination and execution of organization-wide network upgrade projects ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to timelines.
Collaborate with network teams to develop detailed upgrade strategies including assessment of existing environments compatibility analysis and risk mitigation.
Oversee the configuration testing and validation of network components during upgrades ensuring security segmentation and network policies are preserved or enhanced.
Manage stakeholder communications and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
Document upgrade procedures progress and post-upgrade validation results; update network diagrams and technical documentation accordingly.
Monitor the health and performance of campus network environments throughout upgrades and proactively address issues.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer with network support teams on upgraded network architectures and new features.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices during all phases of network changes and upgrades.
Provide post-upgrade support troubleshooting and continuous improvement recommendations to optimize network performance and security.
Ability to troubleshoot routing and switching issues in a campus network environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Detailed Job description:

Assist the Network Engineering team with the installation and configurations of devices and software in scheduled change window
Managed project collaborating and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Create and maintain detailed network topology diagrams and document.
Provide support and troubleshoot network-related issues as changes implemented.
