Job Summary
Product owner
Plano TX (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
Define and own the product vision roadmap and backlog for the web application.
Lead requirements elicitation and functional analysis translating complex business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business value risk and technical dependencies.
Act as the primary interface between senior business stakeholders and the development team.
Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
Provide ongoing clarification of functional and non-functional requirements (performance security scalability usability)
Review validate and accept deliverables against defined acceptance criteria.
Support testing UAT release planning and production go-live activities.
Communicate product progress risks and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10 years of overall IT experience with significant experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in web application development.
Strong expertise in requirements management functional documentation and backlog prioritization.
Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of web application architectures APIs and system integrations.
Experience across the full SDLC including design development testing and release.
Proficiency with tools such as Jira Confluence Azure DevOps or equivalent.
Excellent stakeholder management communication and leadership skills.
Ability to make strategic product decisions while balancing business objectives and technical constraints.

1. Bachelor s degree in computer science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
2. Prefer candidates local to Plano or Frisco TX area expecting to work from office 3-4 days a week.
