Job Description:

This role will be involved in various aspect of our SEC reporting including the filing of our Form 10-K 10-Q and 8-K.
The person will also be performing accounting research to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules & regulations.

Specific Responsibilities:

Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Ks 10-Qs 8-Ks) in Workiva and assist with XBRL review process
Prepare supporting documentation for SEC filings including tie-out
Perform U.S. GAAP guidance research and benchmarking against industry peers and provide recommendation
Assist in the coordination of external audit/quarterly reviews
Monitor SOX controls to ensure compliance
Maintain corporate reporting calendar and coordinate deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting operations Treasury FP&A Investor Relations and Legal
Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline processes
Assist Investor Relations team as needed with quarterly Investor relations material review
Work on ad hoc projects

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or Business Administration
4 years of accounting experience (big four public accounting experience and SEC reporting experience preferred)
CPA license or a progression toward the license is required
Experience with Workiva preferred
Understanding of XBRL/EDGAR filing requirements
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams
Good understanding of financial statements U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting regulations
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
Experience with SAP preferred
Proven ability to prioritize activities and manage workload in a complex fast-paced environment with deadlines

Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is supporting Accounting and SEC reporting.
This will involve technical accounting and heavily on SEC reporting and investor relations earnings materials.

Candidate Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 4 overall years of experience in the field.
Degrees or certifications required: Bachelors degree is required to be eligible for this role.
Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work
