JOB TITLE: F-16 Sheet Metal Mechanic
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift Requirements (Must be able to work 1st 2nd or weekend shifts):
- 1st Shift: Mon Thurs 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Mon Thurs 4:30 PM 3:00 AM
- Weekend Shift: Varies by area

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Interpret blueprints and fastener layouts to fabricate assemble install and repair sheet metal and structural assemblies on F-16 aircraft.
Perform precision drilling/reaming riveting countersinking and part trimming.
Conduct hands-on build-up of fuselage structural components using precision measurement tools.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs: 4 6 years
Precision Drilling: 4 6 years
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Blueprint Reading: 2 4 years
Precision Measurement: 2 4 years
