Job Description

Position : Level 3 Telecommunications Engineer

Location : Hershey PA Onsite

Duration : 6 months

Description

We are seeking a seasoned Level 3 Telecommunications Engineer to provide on-site support for an upcoming telephony project in the Hershey PA area. This role requires a highly experienced hands-on engineer with deep knowledge of VoIP telephony environments who can operate independently and support critical project milestones.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 3 on-site telecommunications support for a project-based engagement
Support Avaya telephony systems including troubleshooting configuration and optimization
Assist with implementation cutover support and issue resolution during project phases
Collaborate with remote engineering teams and project stakeholders
Ensure system stability performance and adherence to best practices
Document work performed and provide status updates as required

Required Skills & Experience

Senior-level (Tier 3) telecommunications engineering experience
Strong hands-on expertise with VoIP telephony systems
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex voice issues in production environments
Comfortable working in a project-driven schedule-based role
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Nice to Have

Experience supporting healthcare or enterprise telephony environments
Prior involvement in large-scale voice projects or migrations
