Job Summary

Title: Hermetics Operator
Pay Rate: $21.00 $25.50/hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Contract 2 Years
Schedule: Day Shift - Monday to Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Location: Colorado Springs CO 80907

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Hermetics Operator to work on-site with our client in Colorado Springs CO. This hands-on role supports precision assembly and processing operations within a high-quality manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare lower-level components for Hermetics assembly processes.
Load components into appropriate belt furnaces per work instructions.
Initiate and monitor Hermetics processing operations to ensure quality standards are met.
Inspect completed assemblies for defects using established inspection criteria.
Handle delicate and small parts with care maintaining cosmetic and dimensional quality.
Communicate effectively with engineers technicians and team members to resolve issues.
Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Be flexible to work overtime as business needs require (overtime compensated per Colorado state law and company policy).

Must-Have Qualifications:

Proven success in an assembly or manufacturing role supporting customer and quality requirements.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with metrology measurement tooling or critical cosmetic inspection.
Experience handling delicate or small parts with a high level of precision and care.
Ability to read prints and understand GD&T methodology.
Strong comprehension skills to follow formal and informal processing instructions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Reliable detail-oriented and safety-conscious.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in high-precision or regulated manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with furnace-based or controlled-process manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and retain technical instructions.
