Job Summary
The Technical Specialist in Mainframe Cobol DB2 VSAM JCL Mainframe CICS will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining mainframe applications using various technologies. The role involves ensuring the stability and performance of mainframe systems while collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Develop and maintain mainframe applications using cobol db2 vsam jcl and cics technologies.
2. Collaborate with other teams to analyze and address technical issues related to mainframe systems.
3. Design and implement enhancements and modifications to existing mainframe applications.
4. Perform testing and debugging of mainframe programs to ensure accuracy and integrity.
5. Monitor the performance of mainframe systems and optimize as required.
6. Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams as needed.
Skill Requirements -
1. Proficiency in mainframe cobol db2 vsam jcl and mainframe cics programming languages.
2. Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and technologies.
3. Experience in designing and developing mainframe applications.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
