Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant to support application modernization efforts. This role involves migrating existing applications from Perl/MySQL to a modern stack using Java/React on AWS. The ideal candidate will excel in system design provide technical leadership and ensure high standards of code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect Java applications for AWS environments.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.
Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices.
Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize application performance.

Required Technical Skills:

Expert in Perl programming language (12 years)
Proficiency in Java and React full-stack development (12 years)
Experience with MySQL and MariaDB (12 years)
Solid background in managing large mission-critical software implementations (12 years)
Knowledge of application modernization frameworks on AWS or Azure
