Job Summary:

Think drive-through experience! They can teach burgers but effective drive-through management takes longer to learn. This means you can recruit from any drive-through concept including coffee burger chicken mexican and so on (Arbys Taco Bell Chic-fil-A Wendys Starbucks Tim Hortons etc. Show their average drive-through window service time versus their goal on the resume.
They do like Pizza Hut Managers and will make an exception to the drive-through window requirement.
GPS is on path to add 65 District Managers over the next few years so career advancement is a strong possibility for the talented GM.
NO McDonalds - they have been very unsuccessful in the past.
NO out-of-industry or unemployed (unless maternity leave).

Restaurant General Manager responsibilities include:

Lead and manage daily operations of the drive-thru and dining room to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction
Hire train and develop team members and managers to uphold company standards
Monitor financial performance including labor food costs and overall profitability
Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
Implement company policies and procedures to maintain high operational standards
Drive sales promotions and community engagement to grow the business
Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally to enhance the customer experience

Restaurant General Manager candidates must possess:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Manager in a fast food fast casual or quick-service (QSR) restaurant
Experience managing both drive-thru and dining room operations
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage labor costs inventory and restaurant financials
Passion for guest service team development and operational excellence
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
