Job Summary

Job Description

Develop and expand a diversified portfolio of clients through proactive networking strategic outreach and leveraging existing relationships.
Establish a target list of accounts each quarter covering all service segments.
Consistently meet and/or exceed monthly and annual performance benchmarks.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure successful closure of warm leads provided.
Actively promote technology tools and logistics solutions to high-volume clients requiring product-level visibility and supply chain tracking.
Provide effective solutions to customer problems or challenges by working cross-functionally with internal departments to mitigate impacts on customer supply chains.
Lead periodic business reviews and continuous improvement discussions to strengthen client relationships and identify operational efficiencies.
Negotiate with agents and finalize pricing agreements with customers.
Enhance customer experience by acting as an internal advocate communicating customer needs across the organization to ensure appropriate prioritization of resources.
Provide customers with business insights to help proactively manage potential issues.
Partner with Operations IT and Finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new accounts.
Champion process improvements that drive efficiency and deliver added value to both clients and the organization.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and maintain healthy account performance.
Oversee all aspects of account management including sales quotations proposals and required administrative functions.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
Proven experience selling Ocean and Air Import/Export services as well as Customs Brokerage services at a profitable level.
Strong ability to identify customer needs and deliver customized innovative logistics solutions.
Excellent communication interpersonal organizational and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
Highly motivated goal-oriented and accountable with a strong sense of ownership over results.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
High school diploma or GED required.
Fluency in additional languages beyond English is a plus.
