Role Summary
Senior-level Mechanical Engineer supporting full building systems design across diverse public-sector and institutional projects.
Work in integrated teams with architects designers and MEP engineers to deliver energy-efficient code-compliant and client-focused solutions.
Strong emphasis on leadership mentorship and end-to-end project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical systems design including HVAC plumbing fire protection and building automation
- Manage projects across varying sizes timelines and client requirements
- Act as primary client contact for mechanical scope and coordination
- Collaborate with architects electrical engineers contractors and consultants
- Perform existing system assessments and design retrofit solutions
- Improve building energy performance and operational efficiency
- Conduct detailed code analysis and document quality reviews
- Prepare and organize construction documents and contracts
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts for integrated solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Manage schedules and prioritize deliverables from concept through completion

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 10 years of mechanical engineering design experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of building codes standards and specifications

- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Comfortable with client interaction and on-site responsibilities
Preferred
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Prior experience with K-12 government or healthcare clients
- Experience mentoring and leading engineering teams
