Description

Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) is a multi-year initiative (FY23-28) announced as part of the governments health care plan Your Health - A Plan for Connected and Convenient Care.
It aims to equip frontline healthcare providers with secure digital solutions replacing approximately 80% of fax use across high-priority clinical workflows (e.g. lab test orders prescribing and refills diagnostic imaging and other specialized services referrals) by fiscal year 2027-28. Pb4P focuses on making improvements to existing clinical workflows through modernizing approaches to care delivery reducing administrative burden for frontline providers and better connecting patients and providers to the provinces digital infrastructure ultimately enhancing care provision for patients across the health system

Must haves:

Experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals risk scope participant roles planning and quality management)
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and strong stakeholder engagement skills
and nbsp;Timemanagement with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
Collaboration coordinating tasks and ensuring that everybody works together effectively this also involves conflict resolution and nbsp;
Minimum 4 to 6 years experience project managing electronic health-related projects ideally with experience deploying clinical software systems and nbsp;
Demonstrated knowledge of Lab Information Systems (LISs) lab workflows and associated business processes within hospitals patient admissions health records and laboratories and nbsp;

Desired Skills:

and nbsp; and nbsp;Demonstrable knowledge ofprojectmanagement; Knowledge and understanding of Project Managements Institutes Project Management Body of Knowledge is an asset
Experience working on and delivering multipleprojects
Demonstrated project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project MS Teams etc.
College/University undergraduate degree in Health Computer Science Engineering Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience desired
Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards is an asset

Required Skills/ and nbsp;Evaluation Criteria:

Minimum 4 years experience as a project manager supporting electronic health-related projects 30. Points
Minimum 2-4 years experience knowledge of healthcare information systems and lab information systems used throughout the province of Ontario 20 and nbsp;Points
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience with the management of project or program communications including both verbal and written and strong stakeholder engagement skills. 20 and nbsp;Points
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience with document management including the application of standards version-control and storage. 10 and nbsp;Points
Knowledge or experience with electronic health workflows and associated business processes within pharmacies hospitals or health records. 10
Proven track record working with health care professionals in the field. 10 and nbsp;Points

Deliverables

The Junior Project Manager resource will support onboarding related to the OLIS-MORE eOrdering portfolio.

Deliverables and nbsp;include but are not limited to:

Site / Client Engagement and Client Management
Site Contract Management
Site/Virtual Training and Trouble-Shooting and nbsp;
Project Go-live Schedule per Clinical Site
Project Risk/Issue Management
Service Management Documentation and Warranty Support
Deployment Reporting and Tracking and nbsp;

Knowledge Transfer

The resource will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
The resource must provide all related documentation as part of knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
The resource will work collaboratively with the Ontario Health team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables milestones and documentation are shared.
A walkthrough of any demos development etc. will be required before the end of the engagement.
