Job Summary

Job Description:

Design develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
Build and optimize data models relationships and calculations using DAX
Develop and manage Power Query (M) transformations
Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL Server Azure SQL Azure Data Factory Excel APIs and other data platforms
Optimize report performance refresh strategies and data accuracy
Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage access control
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service including workspaces and apps
Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues
Follow best practices for data governance security and documentation

Required Skills:

5 years of experience as a Power BI Developer / BI Developer
Strong expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service)
Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)
Strong experience with SQL (queries joins performance tuning)
Experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL ADF Synapse preferred)
Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
Experience with data security RLS and workspace management
