Key Responsibilities

Application Development Create modify and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL Assembler or other relevant languages.

System Maintenance Ensure efficient operation of central processing systems handling updates and enhancements.

Testing and Debugging Perform unit testing debugging and troubleshooting for software applications.

Collaboration Work with business analysts system engineers and other developers to align mainframe solutions with business requirements.

Documentation Create and maintain technical specifications user manuals and support documentation.

Performance Tuning Optimize applications for speed and efficiency.
