Job Summary
Teaching responsibilities include:
- Teaching 4 courses per one semester in the field of expertise;
- Keeping current in research and pedagogy in the field of expertise;
- Engage in course and program development when necessary;
- Select textbooks and other teaching materials for the classes taught;
- Select library materials in the field of their expertise and teaching;
- Prepare syllabi lectures and other teaching materials for their courses;
- Provide timely input to students with regards to progress in their courses;
- Maintain regular office hours.
Service activities involve:
- Attend department meetings regularly;
- Serve on various committees at the School and University level;
- Maintain an active role in the academic community on the School and University level;
- Assist and participate in the Organization of academic conferences;
- Advise students on course offerings and general academic matters.
Qualifications :
We are seeking a candidate with a PhD or MSc degree in Computer Science. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the core courses in Computer Science.
