Job Summary

An SAP MM/WM Senior Consultant is a functional expert responsible for designing implementing and optimizing Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules within an SAP ecosystem acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to translate business needs (like procurement inventory logistics) into SAP functionalities guiding projects from full lifecycle implementations and migrations and mentoring teams while ensuring integration with other systems and leading testing and training

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Design: Gather requirements analyze business processes and design solutions for MM (Procure-to-Pay Inventory) & WM (Warehouse Layout Movements Strategies)
Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP MM/WM modules develop functional specifications for ABAP and implement enhancements (BAPIs User Exits)
Project Leadership: Lead implementation migration (ECC to S/4HANA) and support phases mentoring junior staff and managing client engagements
Integration & Development: Work with technical teams on interfaces (EDI/IDOC) system integrations (RF barcode) and RICEF objects
Testing & Training: Develop test plans execute testing (UAT Integration) and provide end-user training
Support & Optimization: Troubleshoot issues provide post-go-live support and optimize inventory management processes

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 5-10 years in SAP with full-cycle implementations and S/4HANA/EWM experience
Technical: Deep MM (Purchasing Inventory) & WM (Storage Types Bins Movements Strategies) expertise ABAP debugging RICEF Master Data
Soft Skills: Strong analytical communication problem-solving and leadership skills
Experience: Mergers and acquisition and large projects is a plus
Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field; SAP certifications in MM/WM are considered a plus.
